Shiny Clutch: Body

Progress to Date: The clutch part of Shiny Clutch, the Clutch Body

Switch Craft Project: Shiny Clutch

I started on my first Switch Craft project: Shiny Clutch! I spent several weeks gathering all the material, selecting fabric, LED (light Emitting Diodes), magnetic switch, Timtex (for purse handles). My knowledge of sewing is growing:o) The magnetic switch was the most difficult item to find. Luckily, Marc Electronics will be my go-to place for my onesie-twosie supplies. The guys there were extemely helpful. The inspiration for my clutch is the midnight sky...

This is only the 2nd sewing project I have undertaken in my life...I am just as interested in you are in seeing how it turns out!

So far, I have cut the patterns and have sewn the battery pocket to the lining......

High Tech Shoes for Safety in an Adult Industry

This shoe comes equipped with a GPS, an alarm system to scare off attackers, a button with a silent alarm that gives away the location of the shoes to the emergency services, and an LCD screen.

Printed Circuit Board as Handbag Material?

I went into Target today to restock my Pepsi stash and came across this item of inspiration...Printed Circuit Board recycled into Photo Frame

I think PCB would make a great material for a clutch style handbag...I'll get to work!
